The adjoining shrine is that of Uma Maheshwara & here's were the Hoysalas take the sculpting to the next level. Photos no justice to the intricacies here. There garbhagudi faces a beautiful Kalyanamantapam in typical Hoysala style. Seen here are the Dwarapalakas.
